Arts [ahrts]

The Arts! This is the common denominator for all three theatre companies involved in Crossing The Line. Our companies are artistically led, professional theatres and at the same time committed to meeting the challenges of producing, playing and touring theatre performed by artists that are disabled and non-disabled.

About [uh-bout]

Crossing The Line is a project of the co-operative partnership of 3 European theatre companies: all leaders in the field of working with learning disabled artists. The partners are Moomsteatern in Malmo, Sweden; Compagnie de L’Oiseau Mouche in Roubaix, France and Mind The Gap in Bradford, UK.

Activities [ak-tiv-i-tees]

The project Crossing The Line ran over a period of 2,5 years, from Dec 2014 to May 2017. Within that time the three theatre companies came together on several occasions in activities to share experiences and learn from each other. We have been sharing and learning about our organisations, as artists and from a wider world perspective. In this activities section you will find blog posts from our meetings and residencies done within the project.

The Festival [th uh fes-tuh-vuh l]

In January 2017 in Roubaix (France), Crossing the Line Festival brought together three European theatre companies, leaders in making professional theatre with learning disabled artists. After two years of exchange and shared practice, we opened up our experience to the audience, offering a unique opportunity to get involved in an innovative and powerful co-operation project.
